Tammy Wang is the President of Prana International and has been on its board since 2010. With over 20 years of experience working alongside organizations focused on poverty alleviation and economic development, Tammy is dedicated to creating sustainable impact for underserved communities around the world. She is the founder of EdGE Global Partners, a consultancy that specializes in leadership and organizational development. Tammy’s expertise lies in helping organizations strengthen their capacity, improve their strategies, and build long-term, sustainable solutions that empower individuals and communities.

Amit Sinha

Amit Sinha founded Prana International in 2006 with a vision to create sustainable economic opportunities for individuals and communities. He is currently the President of Intelivation Technologies, leading innovations in orthopedic and spinal implants. Amit’s background in the medical device and pharmaceutical industry includes previous leadership roles at GenOssis, Globus Medical & Synthes. He holds a BS in Biology and an MBA and is passionate about driving impactful change through empowering communities to overcome poverty.

Anand Balasubramanian

Anand Balasubramanian has over 15 years of experience in the orthopedic and spinal implant industry. He is currently Vice President of Product at Maxx Orthopedics. Anand’s early exposure to socio-economic challenges in India inspired him to support initiatives that address the needs of underserved communities. His deep understanding of healthcare disparities drives his commitment to working with Prana to create lasting change in India and across the world. Anand holds a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.

Malu Garcia

Malu Garcia is a highly experienced trainer and consultant from the Philippines with over 20 years of expertise in developing and facilitating community-based savings groups. She specializes in creating and strengthening savings groups that empower individuals and communities to manage their finances and build sustainable livelihoods. Malu’s work focuses on holistic, community-driven approaches to economic development, helping organizations build financial literacy and foster long-term financial resilience. With a background in global development, Malu has worked with numerous NGOs, including Hope International, The Aspen Institute, and the Chalmers Center, to design and implement effective, culturally appropriate savings programs.
